Waste Water Treatment Solution

In the past, achieving remote monitoring and control required laying optical fiber cables to the interception well site. This method required high costs for line layout, private network construction, and line maintenance. Cellular network connectivity has become the optimal choice. After the traditional optical fiber communication line was accidentally cut, there was no available backup network to access the interception well sensors and controllers, causing them to lose connection with the sewage treatment station. Therefore, the deployment of a backup network is crucial.

Solution

Sensors and solenoid valves are connected to the PLC, which is then connected to the Robustel IIoT Gateway through RS-232/485. The gateway is connected to the RCMS device management platform through cellular wireless network, and the platform seamlessly interfaces with the customer’s operation platform for data exchange. Operations personnel can remotely control the operation of the terminal through the RCMS device management platform.
